This particular style within the series is what I have come to call my "Immediacy Paintings." They are so in the moment and so immediate that they are in a way perfect. It is that moment of creation that these pieces really capture. The moment of creation has been in the back of my mind for several years but since this body of work it has come directly to the forefront of what I want to capture. It would be an interesting challenge to complete 1000 pieces in a one month period and to further understand this action. I can't wait.
