Twice in one week is how exhausted I have become, but never the less I move forward because I must.

On a day like today, as depleted of energy I am, I can still look at one of my paintings (that I wanted to list today) and think of how grateful I am to be alive and to see color expressed on something as simple as supposed paper can be. I cry because I am so fortunate to be able to see this.

This particular style within the series is what I have come to call my "Immediacy Paintings." They are so in the moment and so immediate that they are in a way perfect. It is that moment of creation that these pieces really capture. The moment of creation has been in the back of my mind for several years but since this body of work it has come directly to the forefront of what I want to capture. It would be an interesting challenge to complete 1000 pieces in a one month period and to further understand this action. I can't wait.

There is a little something extra I wanted to share and instead of writing it in one of my many journals that I have going right now, I thought I would share it here in hopes of remembering it later, rather then later later.

On the way home, while walking from the train, an idea came to me about how fun it would be to share with people on line, in real time a meet the artist chat and share some wine and appetizers while showing and listing work for sale. I am imagining it as if they would actually be in my home sharing conversations as you would with friends. It gives me a sort of happy (I know simple as the word is it fits) satisfied feeling of sharing me, my work and my home to a larger audience.

Hhhhmmmm, inviting the world in to my home. My how much the internet has changed everything in such a short time.

I have sent pieces to Athens Greece, Berlin, Sydney, Washington DC & London just to name a few international cities. It would be so much fun to talk to the people that have my work. Talk to them in real time.

This does make me happy!!!!

Fun, light and whimsical is how this makes me feel and so do these paintings. I believe they are 6"x4" and in the 1400 numbers out of the 10,000. And before I forget the piece in the previous post is close to number 7990. If anyone does read this, and I am hoping someone will someday soon, please don't hesitate to contact me for the correct numbers.

This is one of those days that I am minimally doing what I need to do in order to stick to my rule of no matter what, one blog each day. This would be the equivalent of doing anywhere from 1 painting to maybe three. Exhausted because of moving everything around in my office and a couple of other areas in order for the set up to be the right kind of energy I need it to be in order to do the million and one things I want to do.

So no fancy posting of pieces in living room setting or with black frames around them to show them off even more. The pieces are just how I created them and that is enough. Maybe tomorrow I will do more but for now this is all the energy I have.

If I were to use words to describe these pieces I would have to give them a label of
"Unbounded Exploration."

These two pieces are one of the last ones created. I remember feeling free since I had completed my goal and surpassed what I was wanting to create. Sad in a way to see it end and relieved since my body was exhausted in accomplishing such a huge task. And I want to do more, because I know I can.
